Business and Industry

The City of Jefferson is conveniently located five miles south of I-94 between Madison and Milwaukee and is intersected by Wisconsin State Highways 18 and 26.  Jefferson is also one of the few cities in the area that still has railroad access.

Several financial institutions (with assets exceeding $150,000,000) are located in Jefferson, and the city offers a revolving loan program, a redevelopment program and a facade grant program.

The Jefferson Chamber of Commerce is focused on supporting our local businesses & growing our community.

Economic development, business retention and growth, commercial property preservation and downtown development are key to Jefferson's future.  Along with the Jefferson County Economic Development Consortium (JCEDC) and the city administration, the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce is focused on supporting our family owned and large international businesses.
