The Council for the Performing Arts, founded in 1977, is dedicated to and hosts professional and amateur acts for community enrichment and entertainment. Performances are scheduled at the Performing Arts Center, which is located in Jefferson High School. The center includes a 1,000 seat auditorium making this facility one of southeastern Wisconsin’s largest community theaters.

For a taste of nostalgia, visit the Highway 18 Outdoor Theater, one of the few remaining outdoor theaters in the country. Open late April through September with current movies for all ages.
