Parks

The City of Jefferson owns and maintains eight parks, totaling 40 acres of developed open space.  An additional 36 acres slated for development will include walking paths, lookouts, playgrounds, open green space and wetland restoration.

Jefferson’s tagline is “We’re Going Outside” and that’s exactly what we do on the Glacial River Trail, Glacial River Trail Mountain Bike Park and the Glacial Drumlin Trail.  That’s right, three bike trails! Around here, you can explore the outdoors 365 days a year!
