Madison College (MATC) provides post-secondary educational opportunities to Jefferson area residents at multiple campuses. One of the largest colleges in the Wisconsin Technical College System, MATC serves approximately 50,000 students each year.
The comprehensive curriculum includes many technical, liberal arts and sciences programs – as well as customized employee training. (See a full list of their programs here.)
The college awards associate degrees, technical diplomas and certificates in more than 100 careers. Adult literacy services provide for basic skill enhancement, high school completion and English as a Second Language instruction programs are available on campus, at outreach sites, and in workplace literacy centers located within area firms.
Madison College works with business and industry and other community partners (such as the Workforce Development Center of Jefferson County) to design and deliver programs to meet specific employer needs and to promote the economic development of the region.
